My commitments for Berthier

2026 campaign.
The commitments I presented.

A positive, practical approach focused on solutions: listen to Berthier’s realities, set clear priorities and report on results.

02

Small businesses & the regional economy

Remove unnecessary obstacles for our businesses, support entrepreneurship and encourage investment here.

03

Workforce & skilled trades

Promote vocational training, improve access to skilled trades and take concrete steps to address shortages.

04

Local services

Living far from a major centre should never mean having to accept fewer services.

05

Regional autonomy

Give municipalities and regions more flexibility to meet the needs of their communities.

06

Responsible management

Treat every public dollar with the same care a family or small business applies to its own budget.

07

A simpler, more effective government

Reduce bureaucracy and simplify processes so government can focus more on services and results.

IF ELECTED

My first 100 days.
Start the work. Follow through.

Meet local stakeholders, take the first steps on priority issues and publish an initial progress report. Every issue needs next steps and follow-up.

30 DAYS

Be accessible and listen

Set up an accessible constituency office and begin meeting with municipal officials, farmers, the next generation of farmers, businesses and organizations.

Request a meeting with the Conseil des Atikamekw de Manawan, respecting its availability and practices. Any visit to the community would take place at its invitation.

60 DAYS

Begin work on priority issues

Identify priority issues with those involved and begin working with ministries and agencies, particularly on the ferry, local services and obstacles faced by businesses and farmers.

100 DAYS

Report back to residents

Publish an initial report on steps taken, responses received, obstacles encountered and what comes next.

My commitment: start work as soon as I take office, follow through and report back to residents. This timetable covers my actions and follow-up; resolving issues will also depend on the partners and authorities involved.

THE ISSUES CONTINUE

An issue to bring forward?

Commitments become clearer through conversations in the community. If an issue affects your municipality, business or family, let’s talk.
